We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to provide leadership and oversight for the planning, development, coordination and implementation of the education and orientation strategy required to support successful transition and operational readiness for South Niagara Site (SNS).

Your Role:
Reporting to the Directors of Transition, Education and Orientation, the Manager will lead the education and orientation workstream, ensuring staff, physicians, learners and other identified partners are appropriately prepared to safely and effectively transition into new environments, workflows, models of care and ways of working.
This is a highly collaborative, project-focused leadership role requiring demonstrated expertise in project management, change management and the delivery of complex, large-scale organizational initiatives. The successful candidate will translate operational readiness requirements into an integrated education and orientation plan that supports people through change and prepares teams for Day 1 operations.

Who You Are:
You are a strategic and highly organized leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced and evolving environments. You bring demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects and organizational change, with the ability to translate complex initiatives into structured plans with clear deliverables and measurable outcomes.
You are comfortable working in ambiguity and can effectively manage competing priorities, interdependencies and tight timelines while maintaining focus on organizational readiness and the people impacted by change.
You are an exceptional collaborator who can build relationships across clinical and corporate programs and work confidently with frontline staff, physicians, leaders, project teams and senior executives. You understand that successful transition is not simply about delivering training-it is about ensuring people have the knowledge, skills, confidence and readiness required to work successfully in a new environment.

Key Responsibilities:
o Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the South Niagara Site education and orientation strategy, ensuring alignment with transition, operational readiness and opening timelines
o Provide leadership and oversight for the education and orientation workstream, including project scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, resources, dependencies, risks and issues
o Develop and maintain integrated education and orientation roadmaps, project plans, readiness measures and reporting mechanisms that support successful organizational transition
o Identify and assess education, training and orientation requirements arising from new environments, equipment, technologies, workflows, operational processes and models of care
o Establish structured approaches for learning needs assessment and determine effective education and orientation methodologies for diverse learner groups
o Coordinate the development, delivery, sequencing and evaluation of education and orientation programs across multiple programs, professional groups and sites
o Partner with clinical and operational leaders, Professional Practice, Corporate Education, Human Resources, Information and Communications Technology, Occupational Health and Safety, Medical Affairs and SNS project teams to support readiness activities
o Apply project management and change management methodologies to support organizational readiness, manage change impacts and facilitate successful adoption of new ways of working
o Develop and execute affected party engagement, communication and change strategies that build awareness, confidence, readiness and adoption
o Facilitate cross-functional working groups and sessions to identify requirements, address barriers and resolve issues
o Identify, monitor and manage interdependencies with other SNS transition workstreams, proactively escalating risks and implementing mitigation strategies as required
o Establish governance, reporting and escalation processes to ensure timely decision-making and effective management of risks and barriers
o Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to education completion, learner preparedness, organizational readiness and overall workstream performance
o Prepare and present regular progress, readiness and risk reports to project governance committees, sponsors and senior leadership
o Lead and support the education and orientation team by establishing clear priorities, accountabilities and performance expectations
o Ensure education and orientation activities are evidence-informed, standardized where appropriate, and aligned with Niagara Health policies, practices and strategic priorities
o Support transition activities before, during and following site opening, including stabilization planning, issue resolution and evaluation of education effectiveness
o Foster a collaborative, inclusive and accountable team environment focused on continuous improvement and successful project delivery

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Education, Business, Project Management, Organizational Development or a related discipline
o Minimum five years of progressive leadership and/or project management experience, including demonstrated experience leading complex, large-scale organizational initiatives
o Demonstrated success leading projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, risk management, engagement with affected parties, evaluation and sustainment
o Demonstrated experience leading large-scale organizational change and applying recognized change management methodologies
o Experience developing and implementing education, training, orientation or workforce-readiness strategies within a complex organization
