POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services, the Environmental Services Aide will perform a variety of service related activities including office cleaning, public areas cleaning, support service locations and the removal, proper segregation, documentation, and transportation of general/biomedical waste. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the distribution and collection of linen, daily upkeep and maintenance of nursing units including patient rooms, ordering & stocking of housekeeping supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. The incumbent may be responsible for floor restoration, wall washing, curtain changes and isolation cleaning. Shift rotations are subject to change.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
o Previous experience working in an Environmental Services capacity, preferably in a Healthcare setting
o Knowledge of the use of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job, for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling carts
o Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS
o Knowledge and understanding of the PIDAC Environmental Cleaning best practices
o Working knowledge of computers and entering online data i.e. Incident reporting
o Knowledge of the requirements and provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
o Must be available for all shifts including weekends, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Your Role:

Key Responsibilities:
o Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient service delivery
o Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance and strong collaboration
o Monitor operational effectiveness using KPIs and uphold all regulatory and accreditation standards
o Develop and manage quality control and quality assurance programs

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Acting in a leadership capacity the Registered Nurse-Surgical First Assists will support the Surgical Program through collaboration with the Site Chief of Surgery and the Clinical Manager to ensure the efficient utilization of resources within the department. Driven by a fundamental passion and commitment to Patient/Client Centered Care and Inter-professional Practice, the successful candidate will be responsible for: Collaboration with the surgeon and operating room team to provide intra-operative and post-operative care. The RNFA role supports the expansion of the surgical assistant rotations and improves patient safety and outcomes using a team-based model of care. The incumbent will perform all other relevant duties assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the unit to which she/he is assigned, such as supporting nursing recruitment/retention strategies by presenting new opportunities for career enhancement and skill development. The successful candidate will be a part of a regional program and assist with gaps in on call rotations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

WAGE RANGE: $29.625 TO $31.047 PER HOUR
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Personal Support Worker functions as a nursing team member assisting the patients in the Hospital to meet their basic physical, social, and emotional needs, along with any other duties that may be required within the scope of the classification. Shift rotations are subject to change. The successful candidate will be required to do patient transports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
o Current CPR
o One year experience working as a Personal Support Worker in a healthcare setting
o Demonstrated commitment to patient/client centred care
o Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team
o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills
o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
o Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
o Consistent and regular attendance required
