HOURS OF WORK: 75 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD

WAGE RANGE: $37.334 PER HOUR
The position is compensated according to an established wage grid, with progression through the steps occurring in accordance with applicable policies until reaching the maximum of the salary range.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Chief Planning Officer Redevelopment, the Project Coordinator will be an integral part of the project team, assisting the team in administration, design and construction coordination and move activities.
The Project Coordinator will bring a broad understanding of the planning, design and development of construction contract documents; and contract administration to the position.
The project coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for the project team, receiving, analyzing, distributing and responding to electronic and paper communications. Facilitating the flow of information, internally for the project team and the NH organization; externally out to all consultants and affected parties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Support the Chief Planning Officer with gathering and developing required documentation for design, construction, commissioning, transition and other project development/contract related items
o Responsible for document control in conjunction with the project contractor and through the shared project management software, Kahua
o Schedule and coordinate meetings and prepare required meeting materials, including agendas and meeting minutes across all project portfolios, Construction, Commissioning, Design and Operational Readiness
o Work with South Niagara Hospital (SNH) Team members on varying portfolios and assist as required
o Maintain varying project databases
o Apply strong scheduling, task coordination, and organization skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines
o Assist in the development of varying project reports
o Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
o 1-3 years demonstrated experience within a healthcare redevelopment project office or equivalent work experience
o Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and email applications
o Strong knowledge of electronic forms and document management systems
o Experience organizing and facilitating user group meetings
o Proven ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
o Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizations skills
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of attention to detail while handling confidential information
o Flexible, self-directed, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
o Demonstrated strong work performance and reliable attendance
o Experience with P3 (Public-Private Partnership) projects and/or understanding of the P3 delivery model is considered an asset
o Experience in negotiation and consensus-building is considered an asset
o CAPM or PMP designation is considered an asset
