POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Reporting to the Site Director, the successful individual will be accountable for the delivery of a positive patient experience, patient flow, people management, risk management and safety, and the provision of high quality care.
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, results oriented leader who consistently demonstrates an innovative, creative, and collaborative management style. The successful candidate will foster an environment of clinical excellence and extraordinary care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other healthcare professional degree; Master's degree preferred
o Current registration with relevant regulatory body and membership in applicable professional association
o Minimum of five years of managerial/leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
o Education and experience in emergency nursing preferred
o Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of quality improvement, program design and evaluation
o Sound analytical skills including; conceptualizing, and developing and executing a wide variety of projects
o Demonstrated evidence of Project Management skills involving planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific goals and objectives
o Demonstrated experience in budget development, fiscal planning, and financial management, with a proven ability to monitor and control expenditures in line with organizational goals and priorities.
o Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost analysis, and variance analysis, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to ensure budget adherence and optimize resource allocation.
o Working knowledge of Legislation impacting clinical and labour practices
o Demonstrated knowledge of the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice
o Demonstrated knowledge of Standards in Emergency Care
o Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based practice
o Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work effectively within an inter-professional team
o Demonstrated ability to manage a large/diversified workload with rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines
o Superior interpersonal and leadership skills including but not limited to; critical and strategic thinking, communication, responsiveness, conflict resolution, change management, visionary thinking, organizational skills, effective customer service, decision-making skills and problem solving
o Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in healthcare and/or business
o Familiarity with program development related to emergency care is an asset
