We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Subject Matter Expert to join our dedicated project team. This impactful role reports directly to the Supervisor, Payroll and will support an organization wide central payroll and scheduling software transition project. Our current payroll and staff scheduling platform (Kronos) is scheduled for a significant upgrade that will impact our 7500 team members. The commitment to this project directly reflects our strategy of putting people first, ensuring safe and quality patient care, and transforming how we work.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Subject Matter Expert will assist with the configuration and design of the UKG software. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring Payroll processes are accurately and successfully transition to the new software, performing specialized analysis of payroll data. Also, other related duties/special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Payroll Compliance Practitioner certificate from the National Payroll Institute (NPI) or the equivalent in related experience in a complex payroll environment required
o Minimum two-year college diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
o Knowledge of HOOPP an asset
o Excellent Keyboarding skills required
o Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
o Strong computer skills required in all Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
o Ability to work in a high-pressure, time sensitive environment
o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
o Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
o Consistent and regular attendance required
