POSITION OBJECTIVE: Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services, the Environmental Services Aide will perform a variety of service related activities including office cleaning, public areas cleaning, support service locations and the removal, proper segregation, documentation, and transportation of general/biomedical waste. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the distribution and collection of linen, daily upkeep and maintenance of nursing units including patient rooms, ordering & stocking of housekeeping supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. The incumbent may be responsible for floor restoration, wall washing, curtain changes and isolation cleaning. Shift rotations are subject to change.
QUALIFICATIONS: o Minimum grade 12 or equivalent o Previous experience working in an Environmental Services capacity, preferably in a Healthcare setting o Knowledge of the use of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job, for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling carts o Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS o Knowledge and understanding of the PIDAC Environmental Cleaning best practices o Working knowledge of computers and entering online data i.e. Incident reporting o Knowledge of the requirements and provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written o Must be available for all shifts including weekends, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays o Consistent and regular attendance required o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset

The Director of IT Operations will oversee the operational effectiveness of the IT Operations Team to ensure alignment to and the support of NH strategic objectives. This role will provide leadership across a full range of IT services related to: Technology and Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Switchboard/Resource Centre, Service Desk and Customer Support. In addition, the Director IT Operations will define and establish processes where necessary to improve operational efficiency and ensure alignment with industry leading practices such as ITIL, TOGAF, etc. The Director IT Operations will work closely with the Executive Team, Clinical Systems and Informatics team, Enterprise Intelligence teams and clinical teams to identify and prioritize technology investments that improve the patient and staff experience, enhance productivity and information security, enhance innovation and/or reduce costs. Operational Management o Develop and manage capital and operating budgets to ensure fiscal portfolio health, prudence and oversight of existing financial resources and reporting o Establish benchmarks and key performance metrics, monitoring to continuously improve customer satisfaction levels o Following ITIL best practices, continuously improving systems availability, performance and recoverability o Implement security and change management best practices throughout IT operations, and standardizing technologies where applicable o Ensuring regular report(s) on compliance with all service agreements and mandates o Maintain an appropriate lifecycle for centralized technology assets, within an ITIL-based framework o Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development and support of all hardware and applications o Define, communicate and continuously evaluate service level agreements o Effectively manage key assets, including data centres, servers, networks, voice systems against agreed SLAs, capacity and financial performance targets o Develop a work plan for achieving planned outcomes for this role (i.e., delivery of key technology projects for multi-site integration, staffing and budgetary plans) o Build relationships and trust with internal partners such as enabling services or clinical, understanding business needs and requirements o Foster a collaboration culture between Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence teams making sure that priorities are understood and communicated to all affected internal and external parties o Work closely with Enterprise Cyber Security Team and OH partners to ensure that the infrastructure is secured and protected and ready to respond to any cyber threats or incidents. Solution Acquisition and Deployment o Work with internal and external teams to assess configure and deploy solutions to address business needs o Advocate for shared investment opportunities internally as well as regionally to recognize efficiencies and economies of scale o Support procurements through knowledge of BPS guidelines, contribute to and communicate corporate direction; participate in contract negotiation and subsequent ongoing vendor relationship management o Oversee the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures across all areas including those required for architecture, security, business continuance, standards and service provision o Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communication across organizations and to all levels of leadership and front-line customers regarding pertinent IT Operational activities o Direct activities to understand business needs to recommend potential technology solutions in support of new initiatives, opportunities and procurement opportunities

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Radiation Therapy Department at the Walker Family Cancer Centre (WFCC) is an expanding program that provides state-of-the-art treatment planning, simulation, and treatment for external beam radiation. Our centre has 3 Linear Accelerators and a CT simulator. The radiation therapist works within a multi-disciplinary department team consisting of Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Oncology Nursing, Booking Clerks, Secretaries, and Health Care Aides who collaboratively provide comprehensive patient-centred support to create the best patient experience per the values of Niagara Health. The duties and responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist include administering radiation treatment according to a radiation oncologists' orders for the delivery of radiation planning and treatment, adherence to the College of Medical Radiation Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Standards of Practice, documentation of technical and patient related treatment information, integrating reflection, critical thinking, education, and relevant practical experience in problem-solving. The Therapist will take active participation in quality assurance programs and will be required to perform other related duties and activities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: o Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology Program in Radiation Therapy o Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario in Radiation Therapy M.R.T(T) o Current CMRITO membership o Current BCLS certification with ongoing re-certification mandatory o Radiation Therapist experience of at least 3 years is an asset o Excellent technical, communication, organizational, patient assessment, and critical analysis skills o Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills o Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, compassion, initiative when dealing with patients/families o Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload o Applies NH values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service o Knowledge of computer systems and general office software o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset o Consistent and regular attendance required

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Embark on a pivotal role as a Senior Case Costing Performance Advisor within our Finance Case Costing team at Niagara Health. This position is integral to elevating our clinical and financial outcomes through astute analysis, interpretation, and strategic recommendations. As the Senior Advisor, you will spearhead the identification of optimal data elements, data sets, and analytical methods, ensuring precision and timeliness in the submission of case costing and Management Information System (MIS) statistical data to the Ministry.
Your expertise in Finance and Statistics will be a driving force in fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The primary focus is on delivering insightful analyses that steer evidence-based decision-making, fortify financial accountability, and shape strategic planning. You will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of patient-specific costing data, seamlessly integrating and reporting MIS statistical data requirements.
Your responsibilities extend to guaranteeing the accuracy, validity, and consistency of case costing and MIS statistical data. As a mentor to junior analysts, your leadership will contribute to the continuous enhancement of our case costing department.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Enhance Data Utilization: o Contribute to the core functions of our case costing processes and Ontario Case Costing Submission o Identify and champion innovative approaches for the effective utilization of patient-specific costing and MIS Statistical data o Collaborate with internal departments to understand their data needs and proactively provide solutions that drive programmatic success o Provide analytical insights and actively contribute to the development of data-driven strategies that elevate operational efficiency and program outcomes Expand Reporting Capabilities: o Utilize advanced data visualization skills, tools, and techniques to communicate complex findings in a clear and meaningful manner o Develop and implement strategies to ensure transparency and traceability in case costing and MIS statistical reporting Data Integrity Management: o Implement and manage robust audit protocols to identify and address data integrity issues promptly o Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and consistency of MIS statistical and workload data, fostering a culture of data quality across the organization Mentorship and Collaboration: o Mentor junior analysts within the case costing department, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into programmatic decision-making processes Contribute to Ad-hoc Projects: o Play an active role in various ad-hoc projects, leveraging your expertise to provide valuable insights and support
QUALIFICATIONS: o University Degree or Masters in Health Informatics, Health Administration, or a related field.
