POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services, the Environmental Services Aide will perform a variety of service related activities including office cleaning, public areas cleaning, support service locations and the removal, proper segregation, documentation, and transportation of general/biomedical waste. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the distribution and collection of linen, daily upkeep and maintenance of nursing units including patient rooms, ordering & stocking of housekeeping supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. The incumbent may be responsible for floor restoration, wall washing, curtain changes and isolation cleaning. Shift rotations are subject to change.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
o Previous experience working in an Environmental Services capacity, preferably in a Healthcare setting.
o Knowledge of the use of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job, for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling carts.
o Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS
o Knowledge and understanding of the PIDAC Environmental Cleaning best practices.
o Working knowledge of computers and entering online data i.e. Incident reporting.
o Knowledge of the requirements and provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
o Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
o Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, judgment and decision-making skills.
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Must be available for all shifts including weekends, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays.
o Consistent and regular attendance required.
o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business required.
o Experience in financial analysis and interpretation of results including accruals, prepaid, budget variances and payroll analysis.
o Recent previous experience in bank reconciliations with high transaction volumes required.
o Advanced computer skills specifically in Excel and experience with Crystal Reports, and Power Point.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Outpatient Mental Health and Addictions (OPMHAP), the Registered Social Worker (BSW) will provide support to clients in our program. The primary responsibility of the SW will be: directly supporting adult clients post discharge from the internal mental health units; review of discharge plan; assessment and screening assessments to ensure clients are referred and connected to the most appropriate program both internally within Niagara Health or in the community; system navigation; disposition support; follow up and supportive counselling; education; program and system development with evaluation. The position will respond to, support and educate adult clients and their families living with mental illness and/or addictions through collaboration with internal and external partners. The SW will work with discharged clients, to assess mental status, risk status, respond to questions regarding the referral process and discharge plans, provide crisis support, coordinate additional referrals as required and to identify the need for further contact and intervention. The successful applicant will utilize various therapeutic modalities based on best practices for individuals with mental health and addictions issues that include skill building, CBT/DBT approaches, motivational interviewing, psycho-education, interpersonal effectiveness and recovery strategies. The SW provides safe, competent and effective care in situations of health, illness, and disability across the life continuum while promoting social work excellence and high professional standards. The SW provides care within a collaborative and inter-professional clinical team environment that reflects recovery/client-centred care principles and values. Support may also be required in other areas of OPMHAP as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OSWSSW) in good standing
o A minimum of three (3) years related clinical experience in an adult mental health setting working with individuals and families with complex mental health issues required.
o A minimum of one (1) year previous experience in providing crisis support and intervention in an adult outpatient or community based setting required.
o Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate required
o Current SMG (Safe Management Group) or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training required.

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Analytics, the successful applicant will provide support to the Senior Decision Support Performance Advisors to ensure the quality and integrity of the data submission for the Ontario Health Access to Care Wait Time Information System (WTIS). The position will support the processes ensuring the accuracy, validity, consistency, and timeliness of the WTIS data. Liaison for training and ongoing support to all Physician offices, who are part of WTIS. The incumbent will demonstrate a strong commitment to Niagara Health's purpose, vision and values and will develop and maintain positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders and act as a resource to Peri-op and Ambulatory Program teams, and the Physician Offices. The incumbent must demonstrate analytical and prioritization skills in a fast paced and deadline driven environment


QUALIFICATIONS:
o University Degree in Health Informatics/Health Administration or equivalent
o Minimum of 2 years of experience with statistics, and analysis is required
o Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
o Knowledge of the Ontario Health Access to Care wait time information system (WTIS) reporting requirements is preferred
o Knowledge and understanding of Novari ATC
o Ability to travel to Physician offices to provide support
o Knowledge of utilization and experience analyzing clinical data, with a focus on data quality
o Advanced computer skills specifically in the use of Microsoft Excel and Crystal report writing
o Extremely analytical, with excellent attention to detail
o Experience with electronic medical record systems including Oracle Health (Cerner) and Meditech considered an asset
