QUALIFICATIONS:
o Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
o Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using and maintaining pharmacy automation
o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, using Meditech Pharmacy module
o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, preparing sterile drugs required (both hazardous and non-hazardous).
o 6 months employment experience, within the last 2 years, as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment.
o Adequate knowledge of regulations governing Hospital Pharmacy practice.

Duties include the operation and maintenance of: a high-pressure gas/oil fired steam plant, hot water boilers, diesel generators, chillers, compressors, refrigeration units, pumps, HVAC controls and system components, appliances and other equipment throughout the sites. Performs preventative maintenance tasks and other general maintenance duties as required. The successful candidate will work closely with the building automation and computerized maintenance management systems. The incumbent will be required to contribute to continuous quality improvement and Service Excellence, and will conform to all safety policies and procedures. The successful candidate will interact via pager, phone, verbal and written work orders, with all department levels, contractors and internal customers. Able to perform a variety of building repair and maintenance assignments as required. This position may include assignments or relocation to other sites within Niagara Health. POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Virtual Urgent Care (VUC) clinic is a service for adults with an urgent medical issue that is not life threatening and who do not have a primary care provider or cannot make an appointment with their primary care provider.
This is another step in Niagara Health's journey to transform health services and the patient experience for Niagara residents. Our goal is to give patients a convenient and safe new option to seek care for low acuity health concerns such as nausea, infections, minor COVID-19 symptoms and other non-emergency injuries or illnesses.
During the virtual visit, the VUC Nurse Practitioner (NP) will assess patients and:
o Diagnose medical issues and prescribe treatment. She/he/they may prescribe new medications during the visit but cannot provide a regular refill of a prescription.
o Make referrals to care in the community, which could include follow up with the patient's family physician or other primary care provider. In the event that a new and urgent referral is required to community services, this could be facilitated.
o Recommend patients go to the Emergency Department (ED) for further assessment. If patients are told to go to the ED, they will be placed in priority sequence to be seen by the next available nurse upon arrival.

Reporting directly to the Welland Hospital Site Director, the NP will provide leadership and promote excellence in patient-centred virtual care, through expert practice, education, consultation and research. She/he/they will consult/collaborate with Emergency Physicians as required.

There is opportunity for the successful candidate to run the VUC clinic through a hybrid model of on site and remotely (work from home).

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse Extended Class Primary Health Care or Adult Certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
o Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and or Master in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
As part of an extraordinary team, the Systems Administrator with focus on laboratory systems will play a crucial role supporting stakeholders internally and externally to Niagara Health. As an ICT subject matter expert on lab systems this role will assist business super users and vendors in resolving any issues or handling change requests in context of ICT, covering HIS lab module, middleware and all the relevant hardware and software integrations . This role will also facilitate and support testing of integrated systems, requirement gathering, developing documentation, while acting as a liaison between end users and ICT. Successful candidate will take part in an on-call rotation and will have an opportunity to work from home up to 80% of the time.

Additional Responsibilities:
o Coordinating with vendors, external partners, and the clinical community to ensure information systems meets the organization's needs
o Working with Meditech NPR reports and other dashboards to support decision making by the clinical community, identifying relevant sources of data/evidence in order to assess the quality and benefits of information and draw appropriate conclusions

QUALIFICATIONS:
