POSITION OBJECTIVE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
o Previous experience working in an Environmental Services capacity, preferably in a Healthcare setting
o Knowledge of the use of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job, for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling carts
o Knowledge and understanding of WHMIS
o Knowledge and understanding of the PIDAC Environmental Cleaning best practices

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Regional Director of Capital Planning & Redevelopment/Engineering Services and working with the Regional Manager Engineering Services, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing infrastructure related Projects for both planning and engineering departments. The incumbent will carry a project workload at various sites of Niagara Health and will be required to call and chair project meetings with clinical and service departments, coordinate users, Information Communication and Technology, Consultants and Contractors for projects from start to finish.

The Incumbent will be required to plan, prepare construction budgets, support Clinical users with the internal financial approval process, prepare tender packages, close analyze bids, review contractor's document submissions and recommend the successful bidder, apply for building permits and meet all regulations for construction projects; coordinate and schedule all projects and turn over commission equipment and operating instructions and documents from Contractor to facility management departments, prepare site instruction, contemplated and change orders and review RFP and Contractor's progress draws. The Project Coordinator will utilize exceptional communication skills to resolve issues in a matrix organization and Inter-professional care environment.

The project coordinator will also support in ensuring that the Service Level Agreement for our Design Build Finance Maintain (DBFM) site at St. Catharines are being met as per the tenets established of the Project Agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology or relate equivalent education/experience
o Accredited Member with the applicable Professional Association preferable
o Experience in project managing small to large capital projects in public service and /or hospital environment
o Experience and/or knowledge of managing Project Agreement in DBFM environment

The Radiation Therapy Department at the Walker Family Cancer Centre (WFCC) is an expanding program that provides state-of-the-art treatment planning, simulation, and treatment for external beam radiation. Our centre has 3 Linear Accelerators and a CT simulator. The radiation therapist works within a multi-disciplinary department team consisting of Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Oncology Nursing, Booking Clerks, Secretaries, and Health Care Aides who collaboratively provide comprehensive patient-centred support to create the best patient experience per the values of Niagara Health. POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Working to promote Imaging excellence, quality patient/client-centred care and high professional standards, the Registered Technologist (MRT (R) will be responsible for the patient assessment, exam completion, documentation and evaluation of images. The objective of the Registered Technologist is to provide safe and competent exams through the application of imaging knowledge, the technical aspects of professional practice and the demonstration of compassion, professionalism and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology Program in Radiology
o Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiology (CMRITO) M.R.T.(R)
o Current BCLS certification
o Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the production and assessment all diagnostic X-Ray
o Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development
o Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting medical radiation practice standards as outlined by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
o Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service
o Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving
o Working knowledge of Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging Information and Imaging Systems and other related computer systems
o Willing to travel between sites
o Consistent and regular attendance required
o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
