POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Translation Network Manager, the senior coordinator provides administrative support to the manager and coordinates translation services available to health care providers across Southwestern Ontario. The incumbent will receive, analyze and prioritize translation requests, assign requests to external service providers, edit and format documents, maintain appropriate documentation, monitor translation budget, compile statistics and prepare reports. The incumbent will also act as the administrator of a newly created provincial database (launch, maintenance, update, production of reports, support)
QUALIFICATIONS:
O Completion of a Community College diploma specializing in Office Administration or equivalent
O A minimum of three years experience in an administrative role
O Superior organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage rapidly and competing priorities as well as challenging deadlines
O Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
O Effective interpersonal, communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
O Advanced Excel and Word skills; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher
O Sound understanding of databases, including data extraction and summary
O Proficiency in Microsoft Access and familiarity with Power Apps (model-driven apps) and Power BI are assets
O Knowledge of Antidote and Logiterm software are assets
O Superior written and oral skills in both French and English
O Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
O Consistent and regular attendance required

OBJECTIF DU POSTE:
Relevant de la chef du Réseau de traduction, le coordonnateur principal ou la coordonnatrice principale fournira un soutien administratif à la chef et coordonnera les services de traduction offerts aux fournisseurs de soins de santé du Sud-Ouest de l'Ontario. La personne retenue recevra et analysera les demandes de traduction, établira les priorités, confiera les projets à des fournisseurs externes, révisera et mettra en forme les documents, tiendra la documentation nécessaire, suivra le budget de traduction, compilera des statistiques et préparera des rapports. Elle agira également à titre d'administratrice d'une nouvelle base de données provinciale (lancement, tenue à jour, production de rapports, soutien).
EXIGENCES:
o Diplôme d'études collégiales en administration de bureau ou l'équivalent
o Au moins trois années d'expérience dans un poste administratif
o Excellent sens de l'organisation et capacité de gérer des priorités concurrentes et changeantes ainsi que des échéances serrées
o Flexibilité, autonomie et capacité à travailler avec un minimum de supervision
o Entregent, jugement et bonne capacité de prise de décision
o Maîtrise de Word et d'Excel; connaissance pratique de PowerPoint et de Publisher
o Bonne connaissance des bases de données, notamment de l'extraction et du résumé des données
o Maîtrise de Microsoft Access et connaissance de Power Apps (applications guidées par modèle) et de Power BI (atouts)
o Connaissance d'Antidote et de Logiterm (atout)
o Aptitudes solides à la communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais
o Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et au sein d'une équipe
o Bon dossier d'assiduité
