POSITION OBJECTIVE:
As part of the ICT Technical Support Team, the Technical Analyst will support various aspects of infrastructure for a seven site, two-organization network. The Windows Technical Analyst's role is responsible for Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Endpoint management (Workstation and Server) such as OS and applications deployments, Security remediation by patching Workstations and Servers and respond to and troubleshoot incidents escalated by the Service Desk. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures that are consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role takes part in the on-call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
o Strong knowledge of both Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & Microsoft InTune tools.
o Strong knowledge in Windows 10,11 Endpoint management such as OS deployments, Driver updates and Patching
o Administration and Patch management of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 Operating Systems
o Certifications in MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, SCCM, SCOM & Microsoft 365/Intune preferred
o College Diploma in Computer Technology or University Degree in Computer Science and/or 5-10 years equivalent work experience
o Self-starter with ability to self-manage at required service and work performance standards; Able to set high standards for results, and once achieved, able to raise the standards even higher
o Previous Healthcare Experience would be an asset
o Proven ability to create and maintain procedure documentation
o Actively involved in continuing education opportunities
o Proven ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and to build strong relationships
o Proven analytical skills with an aptitude for process evaluation and problem-solving
o Ability to learn new areas of unfamiliar territory
o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills
o Ability to meet, prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines
o Consistent and regular attendance required
o Proven analytical skills with an aptitude for process evaluation and problem-solving
o Ability to learn new areas of unfamiliar territory
o Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills
o Ability to meet, prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines
o Consistent and regular attendance required
o Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
