HOURS OF WORK: 75 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD

WAGE RANGE: $41.908 TO $47.415 PER HOUR
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Manager, Medical Affairs, the Medical Affairs Specialist role provides support to the Medical Affairs team with a focus on implementing special projects and supporting efficiencies. This role will support building out the HHR plan with a focus on recruitment, resource and transition planning, engagement in corporate projects (HIS, SNS, Accreditation), building out the strategy for physician engagement, supporting redevelopment of the physician SharePoint page and clean-up of processes in collaboration with the Manager, Medical Affairs
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare field.
o Experience with recruitment and retention would be an asset.
o Demonstrated experience in planning and leading practice change initiatives including stakeholder engagement, project planning, change management, timelines, communication and status reports.
o Experience interpreting and adhering to legislative requirements, by-laws, policies and legal contracts would be an asset.
o Ability to identify and resolve problems, prioritize and multi-task.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
o Demonstrated ability to successfully lead others.
o Evidence of continuous learning.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
o Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
o Consistent and regular attendance required.
o Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
