WAGE RANGE: $33.20 TO $37.56 PER HOUR
POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Reporting to the Manager or Workplace Relations, you will help support a respectful work environment for all by coordinating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities relating to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion plan. Key responsibilities include organizational responsibility for conducting an environmental scan and research to inform initiatives, preparation of communications materials and program evaluation based on evidence informed research and practice. The Coordinator will provide support to managers and staff regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, and will produce educational, training and other materials as well as perform administrative duties. To be successful, the incumbent will approach all matters with sensitivity and without bias.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Diploma or degree in Human Services, Human Resources, or a health-related field
o Minimum two years' experience in a complex health care or public sector setting
o Experience with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
o Recent experience with developing training materials, reviewing and updating policies
o Experience researching evidence-informed practices and other relevant information
o Experience with change management principles
o Ability to provide advice on and interpret HR policies and relevant legislation
o Superior communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to improve internal communications and workplace relations
o Ability to integrate education, critical thinking, analytical skills and relevant practical experience into problem solving
o Superior organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met on key diversity initiatives
o Excellent customer service skills to support internal clients
o Demonstrated ability to manage a diversified workload, consistently changing priorities and multiple deadlines
o Demonstrated commitment to a mutually respectful workplace
o Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
o Consistent and regular attendance
